Adele is continuing her mission to take over the world by achieving the biggest one-week sales in US chart history .

She has become the first artist to sell over 3 million records in a week and shifted a massive 3.38 million copies of 25.

After just three days, she managed to  smash the previous sales record set by *NSYNC back in 2001 for their album No Strings Attached.

It's become no surprise that she has also stormed to the top of the UK charts, selling a huge 800,307 copies this week alone and beating out Oasis's previous first week record of 696,000.

Rather impressively, 25 has sold more than the last 19 No.1 albums put together, more than the rest of this week's Top 75 combined and has already gone 2x platinum. Not bad for a week's work.

When she's not outselling every other artist in the charts, Adele is giving everyone new squad goals with her new besties Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone.
