Katie Hopkins has been given her own regular slot on LBC.

The trollumnist will host her own programme every Sunday morning from 10am to 12 noon, after proving successful during her previous guest appearances on the radio station.

To mark the news, she showed off her distinctive new hairstyle following her recent brain surgery, which was undertaken to cure her epilepsy. And she's already been busy pre-empting negative views on Twitter in her own unique way.

"This lesbian bookseller will be giving voice to all those who feel they are no longer heard," she wrote in one post, referring to herself as Julian Clary in another.

One person may have regretted mocking her dress in the photos though, as she replied with a graphic image of her head post-surgery. See it here, if you're not squeamish (and want to).

"Katie has already proven to be a hugely popular guest presenter and she will now bring her unique style of straight-talking to our weekend schedule," commented LBC's managing editor James Rea.

What to Read Next

Hopkins added: "I want you to ring in and tell me why you're right. I'm going to have a strong opinion. I want to hear what you have to say. You should expect to stand your ground. Expect my shows to be REALLY opinionated."

To mark her new slot on LBC, Hopkins has also read out some mean tweets about herself. We can't imagine they were too difficult to find.
