It's not long before Virgin Radio's back on the airwaves, and to celebrate the big comeback broadcast, they're boarding a train.

Obviously it'll be a Virgin train - a brand new one at that - and Edith Bowman and Matt Richardson will be broadcasting live as it makes its way from Manchester to London.

The train will be filled with VIP guests and there'll be live on-board performances from a whole host of musical acts.

Virgin boss Richard Branson, said: "We like to do things differently, that's why we're launching the new sound of Virgin Radio with a live broadcast from a Virgin train.

"With presenters like Edith and Matt on board and with music from some of Britain's leading bands, listeners are going to get a great launch experience. We're excited to be back."

Bowman is set to  take on Chris Moyles, Nick Grimshaw and Chris Evans on the Breakfast Show when it launches later this month.
