Katy Perry, The 1975, Kings of Leon and Rita Ora were among the acts to close out BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow on Sunday (May 25).

Perry offered a finale to the weekend-long festival on the main stage in a set filled with hits like 'I Kissed a Girl' and 'Teenage Dream', as well as the more recent 'Dark Horse'.

Earlier in the day, Kings of Leon were joined on stage by Chris Martin, following Coldplay's own Big Weekend performance on Saturday (May 24).

Kings of Leon's 11-song appearance included high-energy versions of 'Radioactive' and 'Sex on Fire', in addition to the crowd favourite 'Temple'.

Ora, The 1975, John Newman, Paolo Nutini and Tinie Tempah were among the other acts to play the main stage on Sunday.

Festival attendees were also able to see Sam Smith, London Grammar and CHVRCHES in the 'New Music We Trust Tent'.

Radio 1's Big Weekend was held at George Square and Glasgow Green.
