Kings of Leon were joined by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow this afternoon (May 25).

The American rock band invited Martin onto the main stage to perform 'Fans' - from Kings of Leon's 2007 album Because of the Times - together.



It was the penultimate song on the setlist before Kings of Leon closed out their show with hit song 'Sex on Fire'.

Yesterday (May 24), Coldplay headlined and performed tracks from their recently released sixth album Ghost Stories, including 'A Sky Full of Stars'.

They also surprised the crowd with a brief cover of One Direction's 'Best Song Ever'.

Radio 1's Big Weekend concludes today, with appearances due from Katy Perry, Rita Ora and The 1975.
