Coldplay, Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran were among the acts who performed at Radio 1's Big Weekend on Saturday (May 24).
Headliners Coldplay performed tracks from their recently released sixth album Ghost Stories, including 'A Sky Full of Stars'. They also surprised the crowd with a brief cover of fellow performers One Direction's 'Best Song Ever'.
Pharrell Williams performed his smash hit 'Happy' among a stage full of dancers, while Ed Sheeran delighted the Glasgow crowd with a singalong version of his single 'Sing'.
Lily Allen performed hits from her latest album, Sheezus, ahead of her appearance at Glastonbury next month, and Jake Bugg entertained the crowd with singles including 'Messed Up Kids'.
Bastille also returned to the Big Weekend, performing hits such as 'Flaws' on the main stage.
Over on the In New Music We Trust stage, Lorde delighted with tracks such as 'Royals', while Bombay Bicycle Club brought some indie rock to proceedings.
