A surprise album release from one of the world's most famous pop females and the solo debut from a former One Direction pin-up mean it's been a blockbuster week for new music. But along with all the high-profile releases, there have also been some great tracks put online just outside the spotlight. Don't worry: we've rounded up the 10 best new tracks you need to be checking out right now.
1. ZAYN: 'Pillowtalk'
Zayn Malik? Don't know who you're talking about. But former One Directioner ZAYN dropped his first solo track on Friday. And the fact 'Pillowtalk' is already basically guaranteed a number one shows he's safe from obscure boyband has-been waters for now. Cleverly he's combined some effing and blinding and all-out sex references with some R&B that's actually very good. If he can show us more of this when he releases the album (and that's sounding very likely), he could cut his 1D associations once and for all.
2. RIHANNA ft. DRAKE: 'Work'
Drake and Rihanna might just be one of our favourite pop couplings. It's understandable then that we were very excited when RiRi ambushed us with a surprise single featuring, yep, Drizzy. Having said that, 'Work' isn't a classic - and Anti has some far better tracks. But a few listens in, we're starting to find 'Work's complete lack of subtlety kind of charming. "You need to get done done done done at work." And Obama had the nerve to say Drake would lose in a rap battle?

3. FOXES: 'Wicked Love'
Heartache has never sounded as buoyant as it does on Foxes' latest track. The singer - real name Louisa Rose Allen - teamed up with Rick Nowels (Adele, Lana Del Rey) for upbeat track 'Wicked Love', with a chorus more addictive than the man who keeps luring Foxes back into his mind games.
4. PRIMAL SCREAM ft. SKY FERREIRA: 'Where The Light Gets In'
Our favourite wild child of pop is back - and on a new Primal Scream record no less. Sky Ferreira has teamed up with the Scottish band for their best song in years, with added electronics and a hook that actually makes you want to hit the repeat button. We guess it makes up for questionable new album title Chaosmosis.
5. CARNAO BEATS ft. TULISA: 'Love You for Tonight'
Turning forgotten '80s classics into renewed dance anthems for the YouTube generation is big business, and Tulisa is the latest singer to jump on board. The former X Factor judge has teamed up with London-based producer Carnao Beats for an updated take on Kariya's 'Let Me Love You For Tonight'. The Female Boss is back, shoulder pads and all.
6. MIAMIGO: 'PotLuck'
If you're yet to jump aboard the MIAMIGO train, then do so immediately. There's no other band out there at the moment producing pop hooks as gloriously chewy as theirs. Every song the Brighton duo have released so far will make you bop your head at the very least - and 'PotLuck' is no different. Plenty of taut guitars and strutting bass makes it yet another infectious jam from the pair, and one that'll have you bouncing along until that debut album finally lands.
7. KATY B: 'Honey'
Katy B is the kind of national treasure that doesn't need to scream and shout about it. Sure, her last album went straight to number one and had a string of singles that were lapped up by radio. But now she's gone and made an album comprised entirely of collaborations with the likes of Craig David, Major Lazer and others, thank you very much. For title track 'Honey', she's teamed up with Canadian musician Kaytranada to add another string to her bow.
8. LAWSON: 'Money'
After five Top 10 hits in the UK, Lawson know their way around a pop-rock number that can scale the chart. Their latest track, 'Money', is no different with its arena-rock call-out of "where's the money?" Its premise was inspired by a time when they were absolutely skint, which is something we can all relate to.
9. FAROE: 'Blast'
You might know French artist Faroe from a band called Concrete Knives, but he's been busy working on his own solo collection of tracks recently. His new EP Words was written when he "was at a turning point in my life and the meaning the lyrics carry was essential to me, they were words that needed to be said and words that needed to be heard." Latest track 'Blast' sees him continue to craft his own cool electronic sound.
10. TIGGS DA AUTHOR: 'Run'
There's a strong possibility you've heard Tanzanian-born rapper and singer Tiggs Da Author's new single 'Run' before. It's been picked up by FIFA and was also on the trailer for the Rugby World Cup. Tiggs is now ready to officially launch the song, which he describes as being all about "escaping your troubles and just getting away from certain situations and not letting life's little dramas bring you down".
