We waited and waited and waited, and now Harry Styles has finally delivered his debut music video.

Yes, the promo for his number one hit single 'Sign of the Times' has finally dropped, and there's not a creepy Harry face mask in sight.

The clip sees the star walking across a mountain landscape before taking off and flying over lakes and mountains, and off into the clouds.

Harry even walks on water at one point, though we do hope that the endeavours of being a solo artist haven't given him too much of a Messiah complex.

The star filmed the clip in Scotland in recent months, dangling from a helicopter to shoot the flying scenes.

The One Direction star is set to drop his self-titled debut album at the end of this week (May 12), and will premiere his favourite tracks on Radio 1's Breakfast Show.

So far, the singer has also shown off two other songs from the album – 'Sweet Creature' and 'Ever Since New York' – maybe a death-defying Harry can dangle over New York in the latter's music video?

You can also catch the star as he goes on a world tour this year, though whether he will fly over the crowds remains to be seen.
