Ed Sheeran has unveiled his 'Galway Girl' music video, and he has recruited none other than Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan to help him.

The video for the latest single off his mega mega mega-selling third album ÷ sees the singer get taken on a pub crawl by the Oscar-nominated actress.

That's all after a full day's work of being a pop superstar, of course, as Ed winds down in his favourite Irish pub.

Luckily, he meets Saoirse, who he travels around with for the night. Poor Ed even ends up getting into a punch-up with a group of lads, and wakes up in her flat the next day.

While we don't see Ed's face all that much in the video as it's shot from a first person perspective, we've been seeing a lot of his face in the National Portrait Gallery.

Yep, the star has been immortalised in an oil painting at the London gallery, which he posed for back in 2015.

When he's not hanging out with movie stars or being painted, Ed has been winding down with a casual cameo in Game of Thrones. The singer recently opened up about his part, and yes he will be singing.

He also made a terminally ill 6-year-old's dream come true when he met him last week, as can be seen in these heartwarming pictures.
