Lady Gaga's tribute to David Bowie at this year's Grammy Awards didn't appear to go down all that well with the late pop icon's son.
Director Duncan Jones sent out a cryptic yet pointed tweet after an orange-haired Gaga's energetic performance in honour of his father, which saw her cover the likes of 'Changes', 'Rebel Rebel' and 'Let's Dance'.
Jones wrote on Twitter: "overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused." Damn it! What IS that word!?"
The word he was looking for, of course, was 'gaga' - giving the exact Oxford English Dictionary definition of the term.
Despite Jones's apparent reservations, Gaga herself had spoken before the Grammys of wanting to do justice to the British music legend.
"I would never be here without him - I would've thought I was too weird - and I never gave up because I thought he was the coolest ever," she revealed.

The popstar also got a tattoo of Bowie's classic Aladdin Sane album cover ahead of the show, adding: "This was the image that changed my life."
Gaga was originally booked in for a futuristic collaboration with Intel at the show, but Grammy organisers asked her to honour Bowie after news of his death broke in January.
The 'Space Oddity' star passed away at the age of 69 after a private 18-month battle with cancer.
His final album Blackstar was released two days prior to his death, and went on to top both the UK and US charts.
