The first day of Glastonbury has been and gone. Despite some terrible weather, the crowds were still treated to some unforgettable performances from the likes of Arcade Fire, Paolo Nutini and Lily Allen.

We've rounded up some of Friday's best performances from the bands you might have missed, including Elbow, Blondie, Kaiser Chiefs and more.

Despite their set being cut short by lightning, Rudimental still entertained the crowd with 'Not Giving In'.

The flags were out in full force as Elbow performed 'New York Morning' at the festival.

Blondie rolled back the years with an electric performance of 'Atomic' at Worthy Farm.

John Newman danced and danced some more during an energetic performance of 'Cheating'.
