It sounds like Another Level's Dane Bowers really, really wanted to guest on Brit Award nominee Philip George's latest single.

While 'Alone No More' contains a sample from Bowers's boyband, Philip admitted to Digital Spy on the Brit Awards red carpet that he's not overly familiar with Another Level.

"That actually started with [collaborator] Anton Powers," he said. "[Anton Powers] actually came up with the idea… He was like, 'We should work on this track together. I've got an idea'.

"I didn't originally know the vocal was Another Level. I've obviously heard Another Level's songs before, but that track alone, I didn't know. I had to do my research! I think that's a good thing – I didn't over-think it.'

While recording the track, Philip apparently had to fend off advances from Dane to record some fresh vocals.

"Dane Bowers got in touch," he revealed. "He was like, 'Can I feature on the track'… All the label guys were like, 'Just dodge it! Just try and dodge it!'"
