The singer's latest track 'Happy' becomes the second-longest running chart topper in the country this decade, behind Katy Perry's 'Roar' and LMFAO's 'Sexy And I Know It'.
Meanwhile, Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' hold at two, Sara Bareilles's 'Brave' jumps from six to three and David Guetta and Skylar Grey's 'Shot Me Down' vaults from 27 to four.
Outside the top ten, Nathaniel's 'You're Beautiful' is new at 14, Coldplay's 'Magic' enters at 17, and Neon Jungle lift from 24 to 19 with 'Braveheart'.
Idina Menzel bounces from 31 to 23 with 'Let It Go', Gabrielle Aplin's 'The Power of Love' shifts from 34 to 25, and Pitbull and GRL's 'Wild Wild Love' lands at 26.
Elsewhere, Peking Duk's 'High' leaps from 40 to 29, Jason Derulo's 'Stupid Love' debuts at 39, and Dizzee Rascal and Jessie J land at 46 with 'We Don't Play Around'.
