The singer moves from two to one to regain his lead on the tally, pushing A Great Big World's 'Say Something' down to number two, while John Legend completes the top three with 'All of Me'.
Meanwhile, Rihanna leaps from nine to five with 'Jump', Cash Cash vaults 33 to eight with 'Take Me Home', and Jason Derulo completes the top ten with 'Trumpets'.
Further down the chart, Kim Cesarion leaps from 19 to 13 with 'Undressed', OneRepublic's 'If I Lose Myself' bounces from 42 to 14, and Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' is new at 15.
Sara Bareilles climbs from 40 to 17 with 'Brave', American Authors' 'Best Day Of My Life' shifts from 24 to 18, and INXS's 'Need You Tonight' re-enters at 33.
On the album chart, INXS leap from four to one with The Very Best, while The John Butler Trio debut at two with Flesh & Blood.
