LMFAO's Redfoo lands first solo number one on Aus chart

LMFAO's Redfoo has topped the ARIA singles chart with 'Let's Get Ridiculous'.

The track, which was rush-released last week, marks the rapper and X Factor Australia judge's first solo number one since parting ways with his LMFAO bandmate SkyBlu.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry's 'Roar' slips one to two, Miley Cyrus's 'Wrecking Ball' leaps from 15 to three, and OneRepublic's 'Something I Need' climbs from 16 to seven.

Outside the top ten, Drake's 'Hold On, We're Going Home' rises from 30 to 14, Haim's 'The Wire' springs from 36 to 27, and Martin Garrix's Animals is new at 29.

Elsewhere, Coldplay's 'Atlas' lands at 30, Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' rebounds from 47 to 37, and Cher Lloyd's 'I Wish' starts at number 40.
