You cannot fault the Britney fandom, as they have launched a petition demanding the original 'Make Me' video be released.
The official video was launched yesterday, after the initial David LaChapelle-directed version was apparently "too sexy" to be released, according to TMZ.
However, Spears' team denied this claim, instead saying the original video was "utterly disjointed… pointless with no storyline".
A Change.org petition has now asked for the original be released, arguing the official Randee St. Nicholas' video was "not a suitable representation" of the song.
"Since the music video for Britney Spears' lead single, "Make Me..." to her new album "Glory" has been released, we Britney fans find that the music video is not a suitable representation of the song and we are calling for the original video to be released," they wrote.
"(Yes, we know there was a video shot by David LaChapelle before this one, parts of it have already leaked). We ask that RCA Records/Sony Music Entertainment release the original video that was filmed by David LaChapelle for the song."
