With all this drama over Kim Kardashian West's leak of the now-infamous Kanye West and Taylor Swift phone call over 'Famous', there continue to be reports of possible legal fallout.

On Sunday, Kim posted a series of videos from that phone call to Snapchat that appear to show Swift approving at least some of the controversial 'Famous' lyrics - despite Swift's insistence that she never okayed the completed song.

While Swift seems to brush off Kanye's line that they "might have sex", there is no released audio of her actually approving the rapper referring to her as "that bitch" in 'Famous'.

According to People, Swift's attorneys demanded Kanye destroy all copies of the recording earlier in the year when Kim Kardashian first referred to its existence in GQ.

Since Kanye reportedly made the call from a Los Angeles studio, he could be in violation of California's two-party consent law (if Swift was never informed she was being recorded).

Kanye sources contacted by People claimed that he records all of the creative process for his albums - and they say the rapper apparently was still working on The Life of Pablo when this Swift conversation took place.

In the now-leaked phone call, Kanye can be heard stressing that he was not trying to offend Swift with his 'Famous' lyrics.

"What I give a f**k about is just you as a person, and as a friend," he says. "I want things that make you feel good. I don't wanna do rap that makes people feel bad."

Nevertheless, Swift released a statement on her Instagram account early on Monday (July 18) accusing Kim and Kanye of committing "character assassination".

"I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009," Swift wrote.

The latest round in pop music's never-ending feud has now enveloped many other stars - with Swift rival Katy Perry seemingly weighing in with a tongue-in-cheek tweet on Monday.

Khloé Kardashian also rowed with Chloë Grace Moretz over the handling of Kim's decision to leak the tapes - thus bringing in Swift ally Ruby Rose to defend Moretz. Will the biggest celeb feud of all-time ever cool down?
