Along with the stunning 'Macarena', Steps' 'Tragedy' is up there with the '90s' most memorable dance routines.
But now, in a thoroughly important new development nearly 20 years after the track was released, Lee Latchford-Evans from the group has shed some light on the meaning behind one particular part of the dancing.
Basically, Popjustice claimed that the original 'Tragedy' routine didn't include those iconic vertical hands and that it instead "consisted of a single hand raised to the forehead with its palm out".
A shocking claim in itself.
Lee then took the matter into his own hands, dispelling the rumour from his own personal Facebook account and explaining the true inspiration behind the move.
"Unfortunately not true, it was actually taken & devised by our choreographer from the 'Home Alone' poster."
