Lionel Richie is the latest name to announce a residency at Las Vegas.

The singer is bringing his All the Hits show to the AXIS Theater in Planet Hollywood for two major stints in 2016 - in April/May and September/October.

Announcing the news on NBC's Today, Richie teased: "All the ideas I want to put on the stage, any hydraulics, anything you want to do, it's there!"

He later told The LA Times that he hopes to involve the audience as much as possible.

"I want my crowd to feel like they're in it as opposed to just coming to watch it," he said. "At Glastonbury, it was almost like The Rocky Horror Picture Show - people were coming dressed as Lionel Richie!

"If I could show you pictures of my fans, here's my Afro, my moustache, my green sweater. My show is karaoke night on steroids. So what this is going to be is an opportunity where the show is not only going on on stage but also in the audience."
