Selena Gomez has come out swinging following the reveal of her Revival cover.

Talking to radio station Power 106, Gomez had a message for any body shamers following the unveiling of the nearly-nude album cover.

"I'm not going to give a f**k what people think," she said. "I'm not going to let them get to me. I can do what I want."

Gomez didn't hold back on her views on the paparazzi either. When asked for three words to describe them, she replied: "Invasive, violating and just disgusting."

The singer also discussed the album cover itself, describing it as a "'70s photo".

"I'm wearing high-waisted shorts that are obviously cut off, but it's beautiful. I'm proud of that," she enthused. "It's bare. I don't want diamonds and things all over me for the cover and really thick makeup. I wanted it natural."

Gomez also unashamedly noted that the cover was "Photoshopped for sure".

Revival is the follow-up to her US album chart-topper Stars Dance. Released in the US on October 9, it is her first release on Interscope Records.
