Drake's alleged ghostwriter has broken his silence to deny the accusations made by Meek Mill that he is the man behind the rapper's lyrics.

Atlanta MC Quentin Miller refuted the claims in a lengthy post shared on his Tumblr and Twitter pages earlier this evening (July 24).

In the post, Miller described how he feels he owes Drake for helping him out of his dead-end job and making him finally believe in his abilities.

"Hearing (praise) from someone that I've been studying since 2009, bar for bar…Theres no way to describe that," he added.

Miller also highlighted the fact that Drake often gave him more credit than he felt he deserved.

"I am not and never will be a 'ghostwriter' for Drake," he concluded.

"I'm proud to say that we've collaborated, but I could never take credit for anything other than the few songs we worked on together."

Drake is still yet to respond to Mill's Twitter rant, but a councillor from the rapper's home city of Toronto has banned Mill from visiting in response to the diss.
