The Ramones' debut album has been certified Gold in America, 38 years after its initial release.
Ramones has now sold 500,000 copies in the US, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
First released on April 23, 1976, the album hit the sales milestone on April 30, 2014.
By contrast, it took the band six years for their greatest hits collection, 1988's Ramones Mania, to be certified Gold.
Despite the album's huge musical influence, Ramones only peaked at No 111 on the Billboard chart, selling just 6,000 copies in its first year of release.
