Ed Sheeran has announced plans for a new headline tour of the UK.

The singer will play 11 dates across the country in support of his upcoming second studio album, which is expected to be released later this year.


The shows will begin at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on October 8 and finish at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on October 30.

Sheeran will also play a date in Ireland at Dublin's O2 Arena on October 6.

Tickets go on sale from 9am on January 10.
