Johnny Marr, Tom Odell, Bastille and Laura Mvula will play exclusive live shows as part of the 2013 Barclaycard Mercury Prize Sessions.
The Sessions are a series of gigs established by the Barclaycard Mercury Prize to celebrate live music in the UK and are separate from the annual 'Albums of the Year' competition.
The shows' dates are as follows:
Thursday, March 28: Johnny Marr and Tom Odell
Wednesday, April 10: Bastille and Laura Mvula
Johnny Marr was named NME's Godlike Genius in February, with The Smiths legend admitting: "It is a very nice thing to be getting this award.
"The NME seems to be good at giving this award to people I like, so I'm in good company. I guess it means that some things are alright with the world."
Fellow British icons Suede played their Session with Palma Violets on March 7, with singer Brett Anderson later declaring that he believes the current music charts are "terrible".
