Nelly has announced his intention to work with Bruce Springsteen.
The rapper hopes to be able to persuade the singer to collaborate on an upcoming project, after his experience working with country singer Tim McGraw.
Nelly hopes to combine the two musical styles to create a new sound, as part of his next musical direction.
"I think he's doing a record with Bruce Springsteen," his friend and producer Jermain Dupri told MTV. "You know he always has to do one of those! My two records (with him), he's gonna have some people on them - I won't tell it yet. I don't want to jinx the record."
