Her husband Bob (Craig T Nelson) is therefore forced to look after the rest of the family at home, and it's safe to say things aren't going well, even calling in help from Frozone (Samuel L Jackson).

Ahead of the release, the House of Mouse and Pixar shared an awesome new poster for the animated comedy. Have a look at the poster below:

Lurking ominously over the heroic Incredibles and their pal Frozone is the spectre of The Underminer (John Ratzenberger), who is plotting to start the war to end all wars by spreading disharmony all over the world.

When the film picks up, there have been some huge changes for the Incredibles. Bob has become a stay-at-home dad while Helen has become the public face of supers.

But with baby Jack-Jack manifesting some strange powers and the threat of The Underminer looming, it won't be long before the Incredibles are back together to fight crime once again.

In addition to the big-screen sequel, The Incredibles will also become the latest blockbuster to get the Lego video game treatment — in which players will have to work as a team to take down some of the Parr family's greatest foes.

Both LEGO: The Incredibles and Incredibles 2 will be released on June 15 in the US. In the UK, both the sequel and the video game arrive a bit later, on July 13. Watch a previous trailer for Incredibles 2 below:
