The second full-length trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has arrived and it sees Captain America take on Thanos alone. Smart move.

Teasing the movie's huge final sequence in Wakanda, the trailer gives us meetings all over the place, with Star-Lord sassing Iron Man about his plan and Peter Parker mocking Doctor Strange's "made-up name".

Oh, and Thor's in a bit of trouble too, while Loki looks to be up to no good by hanging out with the Children of Thanos (even if it looks like there's something pointed at his head...).

And as if that wasn't enough MCU excitement for one day, the studio has also unveiled a snazzy new poster to go alongside it.

The arrival of the new trailer was confirmed yesterday (March 15) by Marvel Studios on Twitter.

That a new trailer was coming shouldn't have been too much of a surprise given that the Russo Brothers have been teasing one, quoting a meme often repeated on Reddit and writing: "༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GIVE TRAILER INFINITY ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ."

The first trailer for the hugely anticipated team-up movie dropped last November and was followed up by a Super Bowl teaser earlier this year.

With the new promo arriving, the rumours (started on Reddit) about tickets going on sale for Infinity War on the same day were also on the money, as ticket launches are often timed to coincide with new trailers for major blockbusters.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige has recently been teasing that some Avengers will be killed off in either Infinity War or its currently-unnamed sequel.

"I could always list off the characters that we've killed in our movies that haven't come back but the big ones, which I know they're looking at… I would just say, yes. People need to be careful what they wish for," he explained.

Avengers: Infinity War is released in UK cinemas on April 26 and US cinemas on April 27.
