One is a CIA agent, another is a pickpocketing mastermind, thrown together when the criminal steals a bag that contains oh-so-much more than just a wallet.
Starring Luther's Idris Elba and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), Bastille Day sees the East London lad and Scottish heartthrob don surprisingly convincing American accents, as you can see here.
In this new clip unveiled by Studiocanal, Michael Mason (Madden) has been arrested and is nervously sitting in an interrogation room with an intimidating-looking Agent Sean Briar (Elba).
But it's Mason who has the last laugh, after Agent Briar challenges him to steal the agent's wallet from his inside jacket pocket. Mason manages to lift the cash and leave the wallet.
Directed by James Watkins (Woman in Black), this high-octane action thriller is set in Paris.
Breaking all the police ethics and playing by his own damn rules, Agent Briar recruits Mason to use his expert pickpocketing skills to help crack the corruption case Mason unwittingly finds himself embroiled in.
