Trailers-for-trailers are not a new thing, unfortunately, but this latest offering for Ghostbusters is something special even by the standards of these frustrating teasers.
It shows a few aerial shots of New York, some racing police cars and rushing first-responders - and that's really it, until the update of the classic logo. Not even a single line from the quartet of 'busters?
Perhaps the reticence follows the rabid internet response that has so far greeted Paul Feig's female-led film.
The certifiably hilarious Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones form the new team - but a certain section of the public went wild at the idea, sight-unseen, because they're female.

The film also stars Chris Hemsworth as their secretary (should that be assistant?) and Andy Garcia as the mayor of New York City. The Wire's Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh and Neil Casey round out the cast.
We will finally see the full trailer, according to this, on March 3. Ghostbusters then hits cinemas on July 15, at which point we'll finally be able to judge how this generation of SNL alumni compare to their predecessors.
