Robbie Williams' biopic Better Man has released its official trailer, showcasing the singer as a monkey.
That simian in the room is addressed instantly, with Robbie's voiceover stating: "I know what you're thinking: 'What's with the monkey?'"
In the star's typically self-depreciating fashion, he states that the reason is down to him feeling "less evolved" and his way of showing people "the real Robbie Williams".
As well as shots of him monkeying around on stage (including a recreation of his legendary Knebworth gig with the infamous "For the next two hours, your ass is mine!" line), there's a big dance sequence as Piccadilly Circus, a joyride, a minivan seemingly travelling through time, and an unimpressed neighbour.

"It's this fantastical story, and I want to represent it in its harsh reality all the way to these moments of pure fantasy," he told Deadline. "Unlike some people who were born prodigies or geniuses and you follow the narrative of the world catching up to their brilliance, this isn't that story.
"Robbie is that Everyman, who just dreamed big and followed those dreams and they took him to an incredible place. Because of that, his [story] is an incredibly relatable [one]. He's not the best singer, or dancer, and yet, he managed to sell 80 million records worldwide."
Gracey continued: "You can relate to the guy who doesn't see himself as having any extraordinary talent, even though of course, he does. What he did have is the will, vision and confidence to say, 'I'm going to pursue my dream.'"
Better Man will be released in cinemas on December 26.
