Back to Black's first trailer has arrived to reveal the best look yet at the upcoming Amy Winehouse biopic.
Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, the film will focus on the legendary singer's intense journey to fame — with Industry actress Marisa Abela donning the star's iconic beehive.
The brief teaser is backed by Amy's classic song 'Back to Black' and features glimpses of Jack O'Connell as Blake Fielder-Civil, Eddie Marsan as Amy's father Mitch Winehouse.

"Back to Black will focus on Amy's extraordinary genius, creativity and honesty that infused everything she did," begins the official synopsis for the film.
"A journey that took her from the craziness and colour of '90s Camden High Street to global adoration – and back again, Back to Black crashes through the looking glass of celebrity to watch this journey from behind the mirror, to see what Amy saw, to feel what she felt."
Back to Black is written by Matt Greenhalgh, who reunites with Taylor-Johnson following their collaboration on the 2009 John Lennon biopic, Nowhere Boy.
Nicky Kentish-Barnes, Ron Halpern and Joe Naftalin will executive produce the movie alongside Winehouse's family, who have been supportive of the project. Debra Hayward and Alison Owen will act as producers.

Taylor-Johnson previously spoke about her excitement for the film, saying in a statement: "I feel excited and humbled to have this opportunity to realise Amy's beautifully unique and tragic story to cinema accompanied by the most important part of her legacy — her music.
"I am fully aware of the responsibility, with my writing collaborator — Matt Greenhalgh — I will create a movie that we will all love and cherish forever. Just like we do Amy."
Back to Black is set to be released in the UK and Ireland cinemas on April 12.
