Community stars Gillian Jacobs and Joel McHale have reunited in the first trailer for their new movie The Seven Faces of Jane.
Jacobs and McHale are set to star in the new anthology film which tells the story of Jane (played by Jacobs) as she embarks on a road trip in an attempt to escape her humdrum existence.
Told through the eyes of eight different filmmakers, The Seven Faces of Jane will see Gia Coppola, Xan Cassavetes, Boma Iluma, Ryan Heffington, Julian J. Heffington, Alex Takacs and Gillian Jacobs herself take up directing duties.

As well as the on-screen reunion, McHale and Jacobs will reunite with their former co-star Ken Jeong, who is directing the segment featuring the pair.
An official synopsis for the ambitious project says the directors "only had to abide by a few rules, meaning audiences get to see Jane interpreted in eight different cinematic languages, her existence mediated by eight different minds".
As we see in the trailer, the directors all bring a different stylistic approach to each segment of the anthology for the collaborative project.

Fans of the cult comedy series won't have long to wait to see the duo reunite yet again as Community: The Movie was announced back in September.
Confirming the return of McHale as Jeff Winger, Jacobs as Britta Perry, and Jeong as Ben Chang, their co-stars Danny Pudi, Alison Brie and Jim Rash will also be returning for the Community reunion movie.
Back in August, Community creator Dan Harmon, who co-created Rick and Morty said of the movie: "I have been so careful about [saying] that. It would have been accurate three years ago to say 'it's a matter of when, not if'. The wheels have been in motion for that long."
The Seven Faces of Jane will premiere in US cinemas on January 13, 2023, while a UK release date is yet to be announced.
Community: The Movie will stream on Peacock in the US. Community is available to stream in its entirety on Netflix in the UK.
