Uncharted's first trailer has arrived to remind us all that, yes, this movie is finally coming to cinemas after years of development.
The trailer gives us our first proper look at Spider-Man's Tom Holland as Nathan Drake from the best-selling video game series. This take is a younger version of Drake than we're used to, but the footage already shows inspiration from the game.
Mainly the huge sequence where the treasure hunter finds himself in a spot of bother after he's ejected from the back of a cargo plane. This sequence is taken directly from Uncharted 3 and hopefully shows that even if this isn't exactly the Drake we know, it's going to be paying a lot of homages to the games.

The movie also stars Mark Wahlberg as Nate's mentor Victor 'Sully' Sullivan, and will tell the story of Drake and Sully's first treasure hunting adventure together in search of "the greatest treasure never found" which might lead to Drake's long-lost brother.
We've also now got our first looks at Antonio Banderas and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Tati Gabrielle in the movie, thanks to this first trailer. They don't look as though they're friendly towards our lead duo though.
Another character from the video game series who we'll be seeing in the movie is Drake's love interest (and fellow treasure hunter) Chloe Frazer, played by Grey's Anatomy star Sophia Taylor Ali.
One person involved in the series who won't be seen in the movie is Nolan North who voiced Drake.
"Part of me is fine with it, and part of me is like, 'It'd be nice if you asked!' It's not a big deal. I'm actually looking forward to it and I think people should look forward to it. Give them a chance," he said in September 2020.
Uncharted is released in UK cinemas on February 11, 2022 and in US cinemas on February 18, 2022.
