Netflix's Red Notice trailer sees Dwayne Johnson team up with Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot

The star-studded outing is among the streaming platform's most expensive yet.

Netflix has finally unveiled the first trailer for Red Notice, the upcoming spy movie starring Jungle Cruise's Dwayne Johnson, Free Guy's Ryan Reynolds and Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot – and it looks just as glamorous, globetrotting, wisecracking and action-packed as you'd expect from the trio.

Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who was worked with The Rock on previous projects such as Central Intelligence and Skyscraper, the movie follows John Hartley (Johnson), an FBI agent who's tasked with teaming up with a notorious conman (Reynolds) to catch a wealthy art thief (Gadot).

Ritu Arya (Doctors) and Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley) round out the cast.

"I've been tracking your scores for a while now... Every city, every heist," Hartley can be heard saying via voiceover as the clip begins. "Now that you've been tagged with red notices, you've become the world's most wanted criminals, and I'm the only one who can bring you in."

After a bust-up with Reynolds' character Nolan Booth, Hartley proposes that the pair work together to take down Gadot's more slippery Sarah "The Bishop" Black, presumably in exchange for a lesser punishment for his own crimes, and he accepts.

"We're not any kind of wives," the exasperated Interpol officer shouts back, which gives you a taste of the kind of dynamic Johnson and Reynolds will be delivering in what's reported to be one of the streaming service's most expensive productions yet.

Word on the street is, it set the platform back a whopping $150 million. Given this new glimpse? We can believe it.

Red Notice is set to release on Netflix on Friday, November 12.
