Marvel Studios is now officially gearing up for the next two Avengers movies by giving them new names. Well, sort of.
The long-awaited Avengers: Age of Ultron sequel has now been titled Avengers: Infinity War - ditching the Part 1 that had originally been tacked on by Marvel.
However, the previously-named Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2 is now being developed as Untitled Avengers - so clearly we'll be hearing more on that front in the not-so-distant future.
The first sign that Marvel Studios was backing away from directly linking its next two Avengers movies surfaced a few months back.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo revealed that they were hard at work on new names because they felt calling the Marvel movies Part 1 and Part 2 of an Infinity War saga is "misleading".
"The movies are two very different movies," Joe explained.
