Diane Kruger take a journey across the US - and into her own mind - in the trailer for Sky.

The indie drama follows Parisian Romy on a trek across the gorgeous Southwestern US, as she searches for her life's meaning.

Along the way, she comes across an eclectic band of travellers played by The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus, Girls star Lena Dunham and Kruger's real-life partner Joshua Jackson.

Sky had its debut at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, where it was screened in the Platform section along with other buzzy dramas High-Rise and The Promised Land.

The stark road movie is the work of writer-director Fabienne Berthaud, best known for her work in French television and for her prior collaboration with Diane Kruger on 2005's Frankie.

Sky is expected to be released later in the year.
