Percy Daggs III has joined the cast of the Veronica Mars movie.
The 30-year-old actor played Wallace Fennel on the television series for four years alongside star Kristen Bell.
Other TV series alumni starring in the movie include Enrico Colantoni and Jason Dohring.
The project was financed through the crowdsourcing website Kickstarter, which managed to raise over $5 million through fan support.
Filming on the Veronica Mars movie will begin this summer, according to original showrunner Rob Thomas.
A theatre release is planned for 2014.
