Some mad genius at Marvel Studios apparently let the equally-bonkers Community writer Dan Harmon tinker with the Doctor Strange script.
The story goes that Harmon was secretly brought in to write some new scenes for Marvel's cosmic adventure "for additional photography" once production initially wrapped, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
(Dan Harmon)
Marvel Studios has yet to either confirm or deny those reports.
Harmon is not expected to be credited as one of the film's writing staff, which includes Prometheus's Jon Spaihts as well as Sinister duo C. Robert Cargill and Scott Derrickson.
While he's never written for superhero blockbusters before, Harmon definitely littered six seasons of Community with comic book parodies (Kickpuncher, anyone?) and pop culture references galore.

Derrickson is also the director of Doctor Strange's journey into the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Doctor Strange - starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme and Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One - opens on October 28 in the UK and November 4 in the US.
