Ralph Breaks the Internet (aka Wreck-It Ralph 2) gets in on the hilarious meme of giving Disney princesses cheeky makeovers in a first-look photo from the sequel.

The animated comedy brings together Ariel, Aurora, Mulan, Pocahontas, Tiana and more classic Disney princesses for a hilariously tongue-in-cheek sequence in which they send-up outdated views on gender politics in past films. Have a look at a photo below:

The Disney princesses — many of whom are voiced by their original voice actresses — encounter Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) when she travels into the Internet, and she helps them feel a little more comfortable in their own skin.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Sarah Silverman explained why she's perhaps most proud of this particular sequence out of everything in Ralph Breaks the Internet.

"The princesses and Vanellope learn a lot from each other, but what happens in that discussion is acknowledging the… I don't want to say just blatant sexism, but the kind of dated, antiquated idea of princesses and bringing it up to a feminist — meaning equal — code," she said.

The comedian added: "I'm very proud of my character being a Disney princess with a human waist. I love that she is a princess but wears, like, a hoodie, and she inspires them all to wear comfortable clothes."

The film is also adding a superhero to its voice cast because Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot has revealed that she'll be portraying one of the racers from Slaughter Race, the video game-within-a-film.

"I'm so excited to finally announce that I am playing a character named Shank in Disney's #RalphBreaksTheInternet hitting theaters this November," she tweeted on Friday.

"Such an amazing experience to be apart of this project with such great creators and cast! Welcome to Slaughter Race."

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 arrives on November 30 in the UK and on November 21 in the US.
