Disney is giving fans an early Christmas present this year, as the studio has announced a new US release date for Mary Poppins Returns.
The film, which stars Emily Blunt as everyone's favourite Nanny, will now hit theatres on December 19, a week earlier than the originally-announced December 25 release date.
That sets up pretty heated week at the box office, with Aquaman and Bumblebee hitting theatres on December 21.

There's also good news for Marvel fans, as Disney also announced that it has moved up the release of an untitled Marvel film from July 30, 2021 to February 12, 2021.
Disney Animation Studios has also tweaked the title of its next film from Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2 to the more streamlined Ralph Breaks the Internet.
The sequel to the 2012 animated hit will still be arriving in theatres on November 21, 2018.
Ralph Breaks the Internet sees Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) leave the arcade world behind to explore the uncharted world of the internet — filled with websites, apps and social media networks — in order to save Vanellope's game Sugar Rush.
