You'll remember Sam – the little boy who was hopelessly in love with his classmate Joanna and just wanted to make an impression on her before she moved back to the States?

He ran through an airport, evading tons of security guards, just to say goodbye in the ultimate romantic gesture (at least as far as elementary school romantic gestures go). And then they shared that glorious kiss, proving it wasn't just puppy love. *tear*

Well, Love Actually came out in 2003, if you can believe it — which means it's been 12 years since Joanna left Sam to live in the US. And the stars of the movie have grown up quite a bit. You've probably seen Sam all over your screen, since he was played by The Maze Runner and Game of Thrones star Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

Joanna was played by Olivia Olson, and although she didn't do much more live acting after Love, Actually, she's kept busy behind the camera as a voice actress for shows like Steve Universe and Adventure Time.

And, in a sign that Sam and Joanna were meant to be, Olivia also voiced Vanessa Doofenshmirtz in Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb. She just happened to be the love interest of Ferb on the show, who just happened to be voiced by none other than THOMAS BRODIE-SANGSTER!

Coincidence? We think NOT!
