Despite the fact you've probably watched Clueless time and time (and time) again, after spotting this pretty awkward mistake, we doubt you'll ever be able to watch it again without noticing.
Because while thought we were familiar with everything there is to know about the main character Cher Horowitz, it seems like producers might have been a bit undecided about her name.

If you felt sure that Cher's surname was Horowitz – that's what she's referred to as throughout the whole film, after all – have a little re-watch of the below scene, where she discusses her report card with dad Mel.

If you squint, you can just about notice at the top of her report card, it says 'Cher Hamilton' – not Cher Horowitz, as we'd been led to believe as her name the whole time.
So does this mean the film's producers had initially intended to call her Cher Hamilton but had a last-minute change to Horowitz for that added extra bit of sass, and forgot to amend the props?
Likely. Plus, later in the film we see Mel chuck his daughter's report card to one side, giving us a glimpse of the envelope which is addressed to a certain 'Melvin Hamilton'.
