Thor: Ragnarok hasn't finished filming yet, but Mark Ruffalo has .

Ruffalo, who plays both The Incredible Hulk and his puny alter-ego Bruce Banner in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared the news via an Instagram photo with director Taika Waititi.

"Waititi and "Ruffles" on the set of #Thor3 last day. Had such a great good fun time making this movie. Thanks@taikawaititi @chrishemsworth ,@tessamaethompson @marvel for the love and the laughs" the post reads.

The fact that Ruffalo has finished filming already might suggest that The Hulk will only be on-screen for a portion of the film's running time, which makes sense since this is meant to be Thor's movie.

What we do know is the film will adapt sections of the Planet Hulk storyline from the comics, which sees the green giant get his gladiator on.

Speaking to Empire, Ruffalo revealed an unlikely influence for the film: "There's a little bit of Midnight Run, with [Charles] Grodin and [Robert] De Niro. I feel like that's kind of where we're heading with this relationship between Thor and Banner."

Karl Urban, Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum will be joining Hemsworth and Ruffalo for Thor: Ragnarok, which opens October 27, 2017 in the UK and November 3, 2017 in the US.
