After the mixed reaction to the first Ghostbusters trailer, everyone seems pretty chuffed that the second one makes it look like a far better film. First of all there's no confusing suggestions that it's a sequel to the '80s classics, and Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones) seems to be a core ass-kicking member of the Ghostbusters.
Ghostbusters 2016: All the new ghosts explained, from Mr Stay Puft to Rowan The Destructor
There's a lot of ghostly action in this trailer to suck into your brain-trap, so here are the main bits from the trailer you might have missed.
1) That Jaws reference
We'd be amazed if you did miss this – the Ghostbusters' geeky secretary Kevin (Chris Hemsworth) quotes Jaws' grizzled police chief, Martin Brody, as he realises he'll need a much bigger ship to tackle the fish. Kevin seems to have realised the same thing, except it's bigger ghostzapping equipment they'll need.
We're guessing the shocked looked on the ladies' faces is either a cheesy pop-culture reference, or they're having a classic movie brainwave moment, after someone has said something of unintentional genius. Perhaps their 'bigger boat' will zap all the ghosts in one go?

2) There's a Ghostbuster bike
We all fell in love with the Ghostbusters hearse – aka ECTO 1– but it seems wannabe Ghostbuster Chris Hemsworth has fashioned his own 'Buster Bike' to tackle the ghouls and erm, the traffic jams, maybe? We're sure this isn't just an excuse to create another toy for merchandise. Nope, no way.
3) Chris Hemsworth is the baddie?
Ghostbusters reboot plot spoilers, cast, release date, theme song and everything you need to know
It seemed like genius casting to put Thor as mere eye candy, stuck behind a desk while the women head out to kick spectral arse. But it seems he's not content to let the ladies handle it all alone as he wants to become a Ghostbuster himself.
We saw a ghost possess Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) in the first trailer, and the latest one seems to follow directly from that scene with Kevin being possessed, then popping a wheelie on his snazzy bike. We later see Kevin turning around menacingly as the entire room explodes around him. Sure, he could just be abducted for a short time, like McCarthy, but we're thinking he might be the big bad – especially since Charles Dance confirms he ISN'T the bad guy.
4) That's NOT the Stay Puft marshmallow man at the end
Ghostbusters has a whole range of new toys hitting the shelves, and from squinting at the packaging we know the Stay Puft-looking monster at the end is actually called Rowan. He still looks familiar, right? Well, he looks a lot like he's the Ghostbusters symbol come to life (well, he's still dead, but, you know what we mean.) But who could fight it out with Rowan the giant evil ghost? WHO?
5) Will Stay Puft clash with Rowan in a Godzilla-style fight?
It turns out Stay Puft is also in the selection of Ghostbusters toys under the title 'Stay Puft Balloon Ghost' – there's a whole host of parade balloons that have come to life in the trailer, so perhaps our favourite doughboy will make a comeback to the 'Busters universe after all…
