Before Sunrise, Boyhood and making Matthew McConaughey sleazy: Richard Linklater talks through his best bits

Richard Linklater's latest coming-of-ager Everybody Wants Some!! hits cinemas Friday, 13 May. Focusing on a group of freshman baseball scholarship students arriving at a university in the '80s, it's a spiritual follow-up to Dazed And Confused, which featured Matthew McConaughey's breakout performance.

Digital Spy caught up with Richard Linklater exclusively to talk through his career best bits, from convincing McConaughey to grow a moustache to spotting the chemistry between Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy on Before Sunrise, jamming with the band on School of Rock and his epic 12-year shoot for Boyhood.
