In anticipation of next month's The Nice Guys, Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe have started in brilliant spoof sketches.

Playing themselves - or, rather, exaggerated douche-y version of themselves (we hope), the actors are struggling to find harmony while promoting their movie, with gossip reports surfacing that tensions are so high, that the duo have decided to enter couples therapy.

In Part One: Confrontation, the duo sit on a couch in front of therapist Melissa Rauch, Gosling playing the egotistical, patronising movie star ("It's called PR… It's Movie Talk… write it down").

Crowe meanwhile, channels an angry alter-ego by rolling his eyes and storming out.

The second video, Building Walls, sees more tension building between the A-listers.

"Who's building bridges, who's building walls?" Gosling asks, visibly frustrated by his co-star's lack of co-operation.

Crowe lights up a fag before storming out again, muttering; "F**king perfect."

In Journey, a series of clips are thrown together, including the therapy day where Crowe lets rip at Gosling over all the incessant merchandising plastered with his face. You've gotta watch them for yourselves.

In crime caper comedy The Nice Guys, Crowe is grizzled private detective Jackson Healy, who teams up with rookie cop Holland March (Gosling) to investigate a curious – and dangerous – mystery in 1970s Los Angeles.

Penned and directed by Iron Man 3 writer Shane Black, The Nice Guys is released on June 3.
