Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may be raking it in at the worldwide box office (hello $500m), but some people want director Zack Snyder off the franchise.
The film, which holds a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, was seemingly enough to convince a number of fans that the filmmaker should be jettisoned before Justice League.
There are two anti-Snyder petitions currently gathering signatures, one of which is hosted on Change.org and goes by the name 'Boot Zack Snyder off of Justice League'.
Petition creator Bryan Cruz says this: "Zack Snyder is not the person to bring the Justice League to the big screen. He's had two chances now to adapt DC characters and has produced middling results."
Cruz is currently on 13,166 supporters - ouch.
Meanwhile, the other petition goes a little harder on the hatred and is calling for Snyder to be "removed from the DCEU". That petition is on over 2,000 signatures.
Although, let's face it, neither will convince Warner Bros to pull Snyder from the franchise given how much money it's bringing in worldwide.
