Some EPIC news if you are a Spielberg fan. The BFI Southbank will be dedicating the summer to all things Steven with a programme dedicated to his finest work (isn't it all fine?).

It all kicks off with an exclusive run of a brand new 35mm print of Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Director's Cut).

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Jurassic Park and The Colour Purple will all be shown during June and July too in an ode to the groundbreaking work of the Hollywood visionary.

Full details of the programme will be announced soon by the BFI.

We're at least hoping for a red-carpet appearance from a T-Rex or something.

Meanwhile, casting has begun for Spielberg's next project Ready Player One
