Ghostbusters: 8 things we learned from the trailer for Paul Feig's reboot

It's been a long wait, but the first full trailer for the new Ghostbusters film is here, giving us a decent look at this year's summer blockbuster after last month's very secretive announcement trailer.

And by the looks of it, bustin' feels good for this new gang from director Paul Feig.

The line-up this time comprises Melissa McCarthy as Abby Yates, Kristen Wiig as Erin Gilbert, Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann and Leslie Jones as Patty Tolan.

On this slim evidence, they seem to have a fun dynamic. Abby is the rather sweet leader of the group, Erin's the academic, Jillian is the engineer and Leslie has actual, y'know, common sense.

The ghosts this time are a little more high-definition, which you'd expect given the CG rather than practical effects. But there is still quite a lot of slime, because there's such a thing as tradition!

Chris Hemsworth is Kevin, their surprisingly handsome secretary (who looks a little possessed in this clip), and there's acting support from Michael K. Williams, Andy Garcia and a few of the original Ghostbusters cast, although you wouldn't know it from this first look.

Ghostbusters will hit UK cinemas on July 15, so if there's something strange in your neighbourhood, you don't have much longer to wait.
