Our first reaction to the new trailer for Zoolander 2 was that it's full of ridiculously good-looking people, from Justin Bieber to Lewis Hamilton as well as stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.
Another face that took us aback was Benedict Cumberbatch's androgynous model All, with Stiller and Wilson wondering if the model is male or female ("Do you have a hot dog or a bun?").
That has outraged one campaigner who says it is the modern equivalent of "blackface" for the "androgyne/trans/non-binary" community.
Sarah Rose has set up a petition calling for the boycott of the film, saying "Cumberbatch's character is clearly portrayed as an over-the-top, cartoonish mockery of androgyne/trans/non-binary individuals."
"This is the modern equivalent of using blackface to represent a minority.
"If the producers and screenwriters of Zoolander wanted to provide social commentary on the presence of trans/androgyne individuals in the fashion industry, they could have approached models like Andreja Pejic to be in the film.

"By hiring a cis actor to play a non-binary individual in a clearly negative way, they film endorses harmful and dangerous perceptions of the queer community at large."
The petition has now had nearly 7,000 signatures; Paramount Pictures, Stiller and Cumberbatch are yet to respond.
Zoolander 2 will hit screens in February 2016. Watch the trailer below:
